Changes to Flight Procedures at Certain Airports
This new rule changes flight procedures for certain airports by amending, suspending, or removing Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAPs) and associated Takeoff Minimums and Obstacle Departure Procedures. These changes are due to the adoption of new criteria, updates in navigational facilities, addition of obstacles, or modifications in air traffic requirements. The rule aims to ensure safe and efficient flight operations under instrument rules at these airports. Pilots and aviation authorities will be affected by this change as they need to adhere to the updated procedures from April 29, 2026.
