PROPOSEDPROPOSED BILLArizonaMEDIUM IMPACT
Physician Assistants Licensure Compact
⚠️
PROPOSED LEGISLATIONThis bill has been introduced but has NOT been signed into law. Legislative proposals may be amended, passed, or fail to advance. This is not current law.
This proposed bill would establish a licensure compact for physician assistants in Arizona. Before this change, there was no such compact allowing physician assistants to practice across state lines with one license. If enacted, the new law would allow physician assistants licensed in Arizona to work in other states that are part of the compact without obtaining additional licenses. This affects physician assistants who wish to practice in multiple states and the patients they serve.
