Missouri legislative item tracked as metadata only. SB 1061 - This act provides that when a public entity enters into a contract with a company, as defined in the act, the company must have a written verification that it does not have a practice or policy that discriminates against a firearm entity or firearm trade association. This act shall not apply to a public entity that contracts with a sole provider, or if the public entity does not receive a bid from a company that is able to provide such written verification. This act is similar to SB 1397 (2024), SB 200 (2023), SB 1048 (2022), and SB 492 (2021). TRISTAN BENSON, JR.. Status: In Committee.
