Missouri legislative item tracked as metadata only. SB 924 - This act establishes the "Compassionate Assistance for Rape Emergencies (CARE) Act". Under this act, it shall be the standard of care for any hospital or health care facility that provides emergency care to sexual assault victims to inform each victim of the option to be provided emergency contraception at the hospital or health care facility, provide such emergency contraception to each victim who requests it, and provide sexually transmitted infection screening and treatment to the victim. This act is identical to SB 628 (2025) and substantially similar to HB 2121 (2024). SARAH HASKINS. Status: In Committee.
