Missouri resolution tracked as metadata only. SJR 97 - This proposed constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, modifies term limits for members of the General Assembly. Beginning December 3, 2026, no one shall be elected to serve more than sixteen years total in both houses of the General Assembly. Service in the General Assembly resulting from an election prior to December 3, 2026, shall be counted. This proposed constitutional amendment is similar to HJR 2 (2025). JIM ERTLE.
