Amendment to Reversion Date for Cultural Heritage Center Funds

⚠️
PROPOSED LEGISLATIONThis bill has been introduced but has NOT been signed into law. Legislative proposals may be amended, passed, or fail to advance. This is not current law.

This proposed bill would change the reversion date for funds allocated to the South Dakota Department of Education for improving and renovating the Cultural Heritage Center. Before this amendment, there was a specific date by which these funds were required to be used or they would revert back to the state treasury. If enacted, this new proposal would alter that reversion date, potentially giving more time for the renovations and improvements to take place. This change affects primarily the Department of Education and those involved in managing the Cultural Heritage Center's renovation projects.
