⚠️
PROPOSED LEGISLATIONThis bill has been introduced but has NOT been signed into law. Legislative proposals may be amended, passed, or fail to advance. This is not current law.
This proposed bill would create a new civil cause of action against healthcare professionals in Tennessee. Under the proposal, if a person or their representative was coerced into consenting to a medical procedure and subsequently suffered an injury from that procedure, they could sue the healthcare professional.
