Proposed Budget for Species, Minerals, Energy Coordination and Historical Society

This proposed bill would allocate funds to the Office of Species, Minerals, and Energy Coordination (SMEC) and the Idaho State Historical Society (ISHS) for fiscal year 2027. Before this proposal, there was no specific mention of budget allocations for these organizations for the upcoming fiscal year. The change affects SMEC and ISHS as they will receive funding to continue their operations. When it takes effect depends on further legislative action.
