Veteran Business Owners Can Display Military Specialty Plates
⚠️
PROPOSED LEGISLATIONThis bill has been introduced but has NOT been signed into law. Legislative proposals may be amended, passed, or fail to advance. This is not current law.
This proposed bill would allow business owners who are veterans to display military specialty plates on noncommercial vehicles registered to their businesses. It also limits personal liability for the veteran and the business owner in this context. Before, there were no provisions allowing such displays or limiting personal liability specifically for these circumstances. This change affects veteran-owned businesses in South Dakota.
