Expansion of West Tennessee River Basin Authority's Service Area

This proposed bill would expand the service area of the West Tennessee River Basin Authority to include Perry, Stewart, Houston, and Humphreys counties. Before this change, these counties were not part of the authority’s service area. The affected parties are residents and businesses in those four counties who will now have access to services provided by the West Tennessee River Basin Authority if the bill is enacted. As introduced, it amends TCA Title 64, Chapter 1, Part 11.

The West Tennessee River Basin Authority previously served areas excluding Perry, Stewart, Houston, and Humphreys counties.
