⚠️
PROPOSED LEGISLATIONThis bill has been introduced but has NOT been signed into law. Legislative proposals may be amended, passed, or fail to advance. This is not current law.

This proposed bill would create new Class A misdemeanor offenses for individuals who intentionally fail or refuse to leave Tennessee after receiving a final order of removal from the United States. It also proposes making it a crime to enter, attempt to enter, or be found in Tennessee after being denied admission, excluded, deported, or removed from the country. These changes would affect undocumented immigrants and those with outstanding orders of deportation. The effective date is not specified.
